Has someone experience how to move the intake air trumpet more closed to the left hand engine bay air inatke ? I saw that Moss sells a long flexible hose, but it will make a long route in an hot compartement, adding extra pressure losses. I thought to move the trumpet in an higher position on the partition wall with the luggages compartiment, but it will be probably too close to the air venting opening (I guess that the engine compartement vent is an outlet escape air outlet, being installed in a low pressure area) with the risk to catch some rain water droplets. So which is the most effective route to catch fresh air using std air filterbox. Is it true that Elise has 2 air infeed pipes ? |
