Hello everyone! here is my problem... hoping to find some help. I recently had a problem with my suspension: after refilling hydragas, the car whas going down in less than a week. Right side was even lower than left. We refilled twice: same problem. So I ordered a full new suspension kit for MGF Trophy in England at B&G. We suspected the rear right sphere to be damaged and to be the cause of the problem so my garage started changing this one before proceeding to the rear left. He changed both the sphere and the damper. Now I have another problem: car is more or less horizontal left/right, but front is way UP and back is way DOWN! I mean front is above factory settings and in the back the tires are inside the wheel arch! Since there are 2 hydragas circuit left and right, transversal adjustment is possible... but we don't se how to fix a longitudinal height problem. If someone has encountered the problem before?.. Any help is more than welcome. Thanks If you can send me a copy of answer by mail I apreciate (I can check my mails more often than visit the forums): [email protected] Cheers Philippe |

"but front is way UP and back is way DOWN!" Could be that the garage didn't evacuate the system. A high front usually is the cause of air within the system. |

You should find some answers here: http://www.mgfcar.de/pump/index.htm Don't worry - it's not completely in German. |

ohhhhhh god.... what a mess! here are some interesting news elements: we tried to purge the hydrolic circuit but did not help... so we unplugged the circuit at the rear sphere: no liquid came out! even more: with circuit still disconnected we tried to put pressure with the pump: nothing comes out!!! it is like the circuit is closed somewhere between font and rear. do you know if there is any kind of valve or something somewhere along the circuit that could prevent the liquid to rear end? thanks! philippe |

http://www.mgfcar.de/epc/324.htm Part 5 - Valve assembly hydragas ?? Or is this the input-valve? Or is it blocked by rust? |

latest news : we open the circuit at the valve which is under the car (at the rear, about 50cm before it bends up to go to the sphere). liquid was comming till that point. re-assemble this valve and from that moment the liquid was reaching the end of the circuit (the one you connect to the sphere) we purged the circuit, connected back to the sphere, and put back pressure: suspension raised correctly front + rear. If we measure, the bottom of frame is still 5-10mm lower in the back than in the front but overall seems ok. so, it would look like there was a blocking factor in the valve under the car... no idea what it was though... if someone has an idea? Also, I remember I saw somewhere that it is possible to have 4 independant circuits (for each wheel) with 4 filling valves but I don't remember where and where to buy this kit. It should not be too complicated to replace a "T" input by 2 single vavles..is it? Cheers Philippe |
